Population Density
Today In class we talked population over a certain distance, or in a certain area. We looked at the United States and how where there is more cities there is more people no matter how small it is. There was also gaps in population in places where conditions are too harsh, this could be due to the climate being too hot, cold, or wet. two out of three of the worlds inhabitants are clustered in four regions East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Geographers measure population change in a country or the world as the whole using, crude death rate, crude birth rate, and rate of natural increase. there are three different kinds of ways to measure population density. first, Arithmetic density, computation, divide the population by the square miles. second, Physiological density, number of people supported bay a unit of arable land. computation, divide the population by land area. Third, Agricultural density, ratio of the number of farmers to amount of arable land, divide the population of farmers by the arable land.
